My mission is to breed a beautiful red and black phantom or sable, along with good conformation.
I don't have a large kennel, at the most I have had about 7 adults and that consisted of a 12 year old female.
All of my life, well, since I was 11 years old I wanted standard poodles and made up my mind at that age to have them.
I don't have other breeds, I don't even have other sizes. I limit my breeding and will research many generations before breeding
a litter.
My hope is that in a small way I have helped the standard poodle breed? I think there is no smarter dog breed that the
standard. As well as being an over all great family dog . They are protective, faithful, learn easily and are clean
dogs.
I don't breed MIXED BREEDS like "labrodoodles because they are just that " MIXED BREEDS". Some call them "designer dogs"
but that is just so they can get your money. Bottom line is, they are MIXED BREEDS and no amount of glorifying the name will
change that. Also ,"they" try to tel you that these mixes are hypoallergenic, can't be possible since they are a mix. "They
" also say the dogs won't shed, wrong again. If you mix a dog with furr to a dog with hair, you will still get a shedding
dog. It comes down to this, the supposed breeders who mix these dogs are ONLY in it for the money and they could care
less what lies they tell, as long as your cash is in their pockets. The next person who makes money off of these mixes is
the groomers, they don't know what to do with the coats. There is also a worse side to all this, the poor mixes that lose
their newness, they get sent to Humane societies and are PUT DOWN, KILLED! There are some that will live their lives in a
back yard , matted to the skin and finally die after many years of neglect. I have nothing against a mixed dog and I am sure
you just choked when I said that however, I do think the "breeders" should be honest with the customer and psay or neuter
the pup before selling.
